If you have a vision of a painting - perhaps a landscape of a childhood home? Collaborate with the artist to get the painting of your dreams.
Photos and sittings are the preferred methods for starting a portrait. 50% payment is due at the start of the portrait. The remainder is due on approval (by you) and completion (before shipping) of the portrait.
Clothing, hair and setting for the portrait are a collaborative agreement between the artist and client, that should be worked out prior to the first sitting and/or photos. Children and pets will not be able to sit; so photos are essential.
